Care for others. Care for creation. Care for self.
For over a decade, St. John has tended a small garden on the south side of the church, lovingly known as God's Garden. This garden has provided food to organizations addressing food security, enrichment and service opportunities for St. John members, wondrous learning experiences for children in the community, and even a dog walking space our neighbors.
For the 2025 season, St. John is embarking on a new endeavor featuring God's Garden. In partnership with Community Living Centers, St. John is offering therapeutic gardening sessions for adults with physical and developmental disabilities.
This program cannot run without volunteers! Gardening experience not required.
